No more cursive?

So, public schools are no longer teaching cursive? I understand that learning to type is most vital to this day and age but knowing how to write in cursive is important too. Almost every important document that you’ll sign in life needs to have a signature. Either way cursive will just be one of the many things I teach my daughter on my own.
